Grid Race Events - The Ultimate Karting Challenge

Our Grid Race Events are broken into three categories based on event size and Budget.

We offer Micro, Mini and Grand Prix Grid Race Events, scroll down for pricing and break down for each event type.

Micro Sprint Events

Micro Sprint

Suitable for drivers with some karting experience, for up to 8 drivers (aged 16 or over) with everyone on the track at once.

The race briefing outlines the circuit rules required to run a grid race while full telemetry for each driver is provided for both sessions on the track at the end of the event.

Drivers must be on site and registered a minimum of 45 minutes before track start time; due to the nature of this event, drivers arriving late will lose all their circuit time with no refund given.

We require a deposit to secure the track time for this event.

All drivers must wear sensible footwear (no heels, open toed shoes, sandles or crocs).

Micro Sprint Grand Prix

This is a fully organised race aimed at groups who are more competitive. All drivers will take part in a 15 minute qualifier which will determine the grid for the 15 minute race.

Price

£375 (£200 Deposit)

Micro Sprint Enduro

The enduro-style races are to test the driver’s endurance more than their race craft. All drivers (min 6) will take part in a 10 lap/minute qualifying which will determine the grid for the 30 minute race.

£55 per person (50% Deposit)

  • Souvenir Crash helmet & Sharpie (to write your personal message) - £50.00

  • Winners Podium Champagne Bottle - £12.00

MiniSprint Events

Mini Sprint

A very popular event! Suitable for up to 8 drivers with some karting experience (aged 16 or over) with all drivers on the track at once.

The race briefing outlines the circuit rules required to run a grid race. A full race presentation concludes the event with trophies for the top three drivers.

Mini Sprint Grand Prix

This is a fully organised race aimed at groups who are more competitive. All drivers will take part in a 15 minute practice and a 15 minute qualifier which will determine the grid for the 15 minute race.

£475 (£300 Deposit)

Mini Sprint Enduro

The enduro-style races are to test the driver’s endurance more than their race craft. All drivers (min 6) will take part in a 10 lap/minute qualifying which will determine the grid for the 45 minute race.

£65 per person (50% Deposit)

Grand Prix Events

Super Grand Prix

A popular event for competitive groups from 9 to 16 drivers (aged 16 or over) with some karting experience.

Your group will be split in two and mixed up to ensure an equal mix of driving abilities.

The fastest four from each group qualify for the final at the end of the event. A full race presentation concludes the event with trophies for the top three drivers.

  • 15 minute practice / qualifier (group 2)

  • 20 minute race briefing

  • Semi-final 1 (15 minutes)

  • Semi-final 2 (15 minutes)

  • Grand Final

  • Race Presentation

 

This event can be modified to cater for larger groups of up to 60 drivers ££OA.

£700 (£500 Deposit)

Super Grand Prix Elite

Similar to the Super GP but with a bit extra. This ensures all drivers get the same amount of circuit time. Suitable for 9-16 drivers (aged 16 or over) with some karting experience.

After the practice and qualifying sessions, all drivers proceed to a full race brief to outline the additional circuit rules needed to run grid-style racing and outline the penalties given for breaking circuit rules.

We then mix the groups to make sure both have equal abilities and start the semis and grand final rounds to decide a winner.

A race presentation concludes the event with trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place drivers with all drivers receiving full telemetry from their event.

Super Grand Prix Extreme

Similar to the Super GP Elite but with a bit extra. This ensures all drivers get the same amount of circuit time. Suitable for 17-24 drivers (aged 16 or over) with some karting experience.

Each driver has a 15 minute practice session to learn the track, get used to track conditions and look for overtaking spots. All drivers then have a 15 minute qualifier to put down their fastest lap and determine grid positions for the semi finals.

After the first six sessions (Group 1, 2 & 3), all drivers then proceed to a full race brief to outline the additional circuit rules needed to run grid-style racing and outline the penalties given for breaking circuit rules. We then mix the groups to make sure both have equal abilities and start the semi final rounds.

The top drivers from the semi finals make it to the A final while the others go on to race the B and C finals.(Depending on race positions from the Semi Finals) A race presentation concludes the event with trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place drivers of the A Final with all drivers receiving full telemetry from their event.
